Our role

We are not a weapons exporter, mercenary force, or combat unit. Our role is limited to structured evaluation, training, advisory support, and localization planning within defined legal and contractual boundaries.

Operational boundaries

Activities of our personnel are limited to evaluation, training, and advisory functions. We do not provide operational control, targeting, or combat mission execution.

Engagement structure

Engagements are conducted through defined scopes of work, formal partner relationships, and written agreements that specify responsibilities, deliverables, and legal boundaries.

Legal and regulatory alignment

We design engagements to respect applicable Ukrainian, EU, and partner-nation legal, regulatory, and export-control frameworks. Any project involving prototypes, technical data, cross-border transfers, or localization planning is scoped with those constraints in mind.

Data handling and confidentiality

We treat client information, technical materials, and operational observations as confidential. Depending on the scope of work, we may use controlled access, need-to-know handling, anonymization, and contractual confidentiality measures to protect sensitive information.

Separation of interests

Frontline R&D operates as a service and advisory partner. We do not position ourselves as a competing OEM or replacement for national industry. Our role is to support governments, test authorities, OEMs, and integrators with structured evaluation, doctrine, and localization pathways.

Use of operational insight

Where operational observations inform our work, sensitive details are handled carefully and shared only within the scope of the relevant engagement and applicable legal restrictions.
